FIRST JOBINTERVIEW

Hi Dreamer,

Jobinterviews are happening!
It’s been almost a month that I’ve been in Australia. The holidays are officially over and the new year has started. This means that it is time to get down to business:
the job hunt continues!

FIRST JOBINTERVIEW

JOB HUNT

And I did it! My first jobinterview was last Wednesday and I couldn’t be happier. I made a start on my Australian work career.

I felt like it was a big deal to have an interview in a different language and different country: What if I don’t know what to say? What if they do things completely different then back home?

I was nervous in the beginning, especially because it is a first and firsts are always scary. It is diving into the unknown, not being aware on what to expect.

Honestly, the interview went okay, more then okay even. I didn’t block, was able to explain everything and I think I did a good job talking about my abilities and previous experience.

Another first to tick off the list.

And I am very happy to tell you all I got a call one hour ago informing me I GOT THE JOB!

I GOT A JOB IN AUSTRALIA!!

Enjoy your weekend, I know I will enjoy mine!

Lots of love,

Michelle

  1. […] And that was the thing I liked the most about my work meeting. My manager saw it as an opportunity to experience someone moving away. He also offered all his help as a reference when I start my job hunting – and did he help! Read my job finding here […]
